TabTrade Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker

Tab Trade — The Short Version

Tab Trade opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.

His background tells you something. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers starts with a white-label MT4 setup. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Not the typical playbook.

Market coverage: FX, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is not narrow.

The Software

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MT5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have used a MetaQuotes platform previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently on the roadmap. That would make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Easy to track. No minimum deposit. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can sit under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.

Execution Speed

This is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is the difference between. If you swing trade, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and the overall offering makes sense. Few brokers at this price point run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the detail you need to be straight about. The broker is licensed by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for tier-1 data centre access. That does not guarantee anything. It does inform how you think about it.

The trade-off: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether this deal is worth it is your call.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Usual sign-up bonus. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
